Once again, this is the third year of having an Interschool Cyber Challenge. This event was kicked off and launched on the 1st and 2nd of April at Lowyat Plaza in collaboration with MSI, Nvidia, Viewsonic, Armageddon and Gameplan.
Genysis, an E-sport event organisation based in Kuala Lumpur which is known through their various E-sport events is the host of this event. E-sports aside, this event aims to train college students on how to organise events and grow potential E-Sport players. The championships involve schools from 8 colleges/universities.
The dates and venue for the qualifier will be different among universities/colleges but all of them will be held throughout April to July, and the final will be in the mid-end of July at One City.
For this season, Gameplan 2017 will be having 3 main games: the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) in Malaysia, Dota2; the Game of the Year 2016, Overwatch; and the award winner of the Best Fighting Game, Streetfighter V.
It is time for students from 8 different universities/colleges compete with one another and find out who are the best of the best among universities and students in July.
